Overview
We are pleased to inform you that the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) under the aegis of its Direct Taxes Expert Committee is organizing a One day seminar on Tax deduction at
Source – Recent developments and practical issues on Friday January 9, 2015 at the Regency Hall, Hotel ITC Windsor, Sankey Road, Bangalore. The Session will begin at 9.45 a.m.
Focus
The focus of the seminar would be to deliberate on interpretational issues, recent judicial pronouncements and practical challenges faced by the industry.
Speakers
Senior representatives from the tax department have kindly consented to grace the conference and interact with the participants. Key speakers from the Industry and tax experts will address challenges faced by the industry and debate on recent decisions related to TDS and interpretational issues.
Agenda
The following issues relating to TDS will be covered:
TDS on salaries and cross charge of salary costs on secondments
TDS on payments to non-residents
TDS on domestic payments
TDS and TRACES issues
The Session also aims to educate the members on the important provisions of TDS to enable them to streamline their procedures and comply with the regulations. This would also give the participants a unique opportunity to understand from the Department on the several initiatives being undertaken by them to make the TDS process hassle free.

Participation Fee
A delegate fee of Rs. 2000/- for Members and Rs. 2500/- for Non – Members per participant is being charged to defray a part of the expenses for the above Interactive Session. The Cheque/DD should be drawn in favour of “Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce”.
