I am an IT assessee for the past 38 years (from year 1976). I have recently received this notice. No one need to get panic. If your account and taxpaid is clear, nothing to worry, need not get any panic. It is simmple, The AO is bound to ask certain clarification on your assets and liabilities, which you have to present. In short words if you have excess weight in your pocket only you have to worry on your way....Regards, Murugesan.C

All Knows in general, even the PM of India. Howsoever correct you may be, No Assessment is closed without payment of hefty sum as bribe to the Assessing offcer. If the Vigil wants to arrest such officers. Ask them to get one registration of Central excise or Servive tax or Sales tax without bribe. Ask them to attend one IT-Assessment on behalf of any company in India. It never happens that without payment of bribe, you may get a registration or clear any Assessment. Yes, agreed there are exception many things, but the % of such exception is 0.0001%.
