Now e-Filing of Income Tax Return facility through Banks - IT

Income Tax Department is happy to announce the facility of Direct Login from Corporation Bank, Union Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce - Net banking account to the taxpayer's E-filing Account. IT Department has provided facility of e-filing of Income Tax Return through Banks. Customers using internet
banking facility can avail benefit of this service. Name, Address , Pan Number, Date of Birth , Bank Account Number, IFSC Codes etc may be automatically captured in filing of income tax return from Bank Verified database. In the first instance this facility has been started with Corporation Bank, Union Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce. Others banks are expected to follow.
