General FAQs on Filing of Any E-Form With MCA without Registering DSC of Directors / Designated Partners

Registration of DSC is one way of validating PAN details only. After its registration only one can file various E-forms on MCA Portal. So, in other words, registration of DSC and filing of forms are cross-linked with the validation of PAN.
Q. 1  Who is required to register DSC?
Ans. Directors, Manager and Secretary of the Company and practicing professionals i.e. CA, CS & CWA should register their DSC on MCA portal.
Q. 2  Why one need to register the DSC?
Ans. On registration of DSC, MCA system shall capture or cross check all the details of the DSC against the DIN. This is done only to cross check and will further authenticate the digital signature. The system of cross check will verify whether the digital signatures affixed on the e- forms belong to the relevant DIN Holder or not.
Q.3  What are the consequences of non- registration of DSC?
Ans. Unless and until any director/designated partner will register his DSC, any E-form carrying his authentication or certification cannot be filed, whereby the MAC Portal will reflect errors and form will not be filed.
